  2. Our Team

At Boxwood Manor, everything we do is rooted in family. Preparing for an event here is truly a family affair, one filled with shared responsibility, laughter, hard work, and generations of love for this land. Each gathering is made special not by a staff of strangers, but by family members who care deeply about every detail and every guest who walks through our doors.

1. Miss Annette – Owner, Host & Event Coordinator

Miss Annette is the heart and guiding spirit of Boxwood Manor. Having grown up on the farm, she carries with her generations of stories, traditions, and a deep appreciation for hospitality. She serves as the primary contact for Boxwood Manor, personally coordinating events and working closely with guests to bring their visions to life.

From the first inquiry to the final farewell, Miss Annette ensures that every event reflects the warmth, history, and charm that make Boxwood Manor so special. Her passion for preserving the past while creating meaningful experiences today is woven into everything that happens here.

2. Ty – Groundskeeper & Professional DJ

Ty wears many hats at Boxwood Manor. He is responsible for keeping the grounds beautifully manicured, ensuring that the gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces are always welcoming and event-ready.

In addition to maintaining the property, Ty is also a professional DJ, available to provide music and sound for events when needed. Whether he’s mowing the lawn or setting the tone for a celebration, Ty plays a vital role in creating an enjoyable and seamless experience for guests.

3. Sherri – Special Events Coordinator

Sherri, Ty’s wife, brings creativity and organization to Boxwood Manor’s special events. She coordinates experiences such as local vendor markets, children’s birthday parties, and themed gatherings, helping transform the farm into a lively community space throughout the year.

Her attention to detail and passion for creating fun, engaging events make her an invaluable part of the Boxwood Manor team.

4. Grands and Great Grands- the Helping Hands

Ty and Sherri’s son, Colson, along with his family, including three beloved “great grands” are always ready to lend a hand. From moving tables and chairs to watering flowers, picking up sticks, and assisting wherever needed, they play an important behind-the-scenes role in event preparation and upkeep.

Their involvement is a beautiful reflection of what Boxwood Manor stands for: family, teamwork, and shared purpose.

5. Savannah and her fiance'

Savannah and her fiancé are an important part of the Boxwood Manor family and are actively involved in helping make events run smoothly, even though they do not live on the farm. Savannah’s artistic talents shine through in her guidance of children’s art and craft activities, where she brings creativity, patience, and joy to every project. Together, they contribute their time and energy to support events and ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for.

6. Oliver – Official Greeter & Morale Booster

And of course, no team introduction would be complete without Oliver, the beloved Westie. Oliver enthusiastically greets guests with tail wags and boundless excitement, instantly making everyone feel welcome. He is a cherished member of the Boxwood Manor family and a favorite among visitors of all ages.

Four Generations on the Farm

One of Boxwood Manor’s greatest blessings is having four generations living on the farm. This deep family presence brings authenticity, continuity, and a genuine sense of home to every event. Guests often remark that they can feel the love, warmth and history in the space, and that feeling comes directly from the people who care for it every day.
